Low Yen Ling
Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade & Industry, Republic of Singapore

Ms Low Yen Ling is presently the Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). Prior to that, she was the Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education (MOE) from 2015 till July 2020 and the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) from 2018 till July 2020. She had also previously held office in the Ministry of Social and Family Development (2013-2015), MCCY (2014-2015) and MTI (2015-2018). She also serves on the multi-agency national SG Clean taskforce to uphold high standards of public and personal hygiene beyond Covid-19.



The Hon Bill Johnston MLA
Minister for Mines and Petroleum; Energy; Corrective Services; Industrial Relations, Western Australia

The Hon. Bill Johnston is Western Australia's Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Energy, Corrective Services and Industrial Relations. He has been a Minister for the McGowan Labor Government since March 2017, and has previously been Minister for Commerce, Electoral Affairs, and Asian Engagement. So far, his achievements include cutting red-tape for the mining industry, introducing the Work Health and Safety Bill (industrial manslaughter provisions) and assisting in revolutionizing Western Australia’s energy system.



Rajat Seksaria
CEO, ACME Group

Rajat Seksaria, CEO of ACME Group, with experience of over 17 years is steering the organization to play a vital role in rapid energy transition. Rajat has played a key role in strategic deals for the company including the issuance of offshore green bonds, partnerships with global firms like SCATEC, UNOPS S3i, IFU & Brookfield Renewables and divestment of assets to Petronas and Actis. He is also at the forefront of ACME’s move into setting up a pioneering global green hydrogen business. With earlier stints with Shell (earlier BG India Ltd), Punj Lloyd and India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL), he has also handled international project development in renewables and infrastructure in Africa, Asia and Europe.



Matthieu Giard
Member of the Executive Committee, supervising in particular Hydrogen activities, Air Liquide

Matthieu Giard is currently Vice President at Air Liquide, supervising the Industrial Merchant business line and Hydrogen activities. He joined Air Liquide in 2004 in the Industrial Merchant operations in Benelux. In 2008, he became Industrial Director for the Medical Gases activity in the United States, before being CEO of the Canadian Healthcare operations. From 2014 to 2018, he managed the Dubai Hub supervising operations in Africa, Middle East and India.



Irie Irie Kazutomo
President, Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC)

Dr. Irie Kazutomo is the President of Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC), since 2018. He joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of the Japanese Government in 1979. He had worked mainly in energy and trade policy, including a posting at the Japanese Embassy in Canberra, Australia, and in policy planning and studies at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) and other divisions. After retiring, he worked at the University of Tokyo as Professor in charge of research and education on nuclear policy and law until 2012.


Sophie Sophie Ducoloner
Managing Director, AXPO Singapore

Sophie Ducoloner is Managing Director of Axpo Singapore, leading Axpo development in Asia. Sophie started her career in 2001 and has had various roles in the energy and environment sectors. Prior to joining Axpo Singapore, he was Head of Glean Energy Asia and Head of LNG Origination Asia Pacific for GMT, General Manager Global LNG Origination for EDF Trading and then joined the EDFT joint-venture with JERA Global Markets. Before moving to Singapore, he set up carbon trading desk for Gazprom Marketing and Trading in London.


Lee Levkowitz
Head of Energy, Carbon and Technology Research, BHP

Lee Levkowitz is Head of Energy, Carbon and Technology Research at BHP based in Singapore. Her team is responsible for developing long-term integrated views on the global energy and climate system, which feed into BHP’s Commercial, Portfolio and Climate Change strategies. Prior to BHP, Lee worked at IHS Markit, PFC Energy, the International Energy Forum, the US State Department and US Congress, where she worked in a variety of roles advising governments and corporates on international and Asian energy and carbon market trends.



Narsingh Chaudhary
Executive Vice President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Black & Veatch

Narsingh Chaudhary is Executive Vice President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Black & Veatch. He is responsible for the regional profit and loss (P&L) center in the Asia Pacific covering services to Lumpsum Turnkey for Power, Gas Fuel & Chemicals, Water, Telecom, Data Centre, Decarbonization and various infrastructure business. Narsingh has more than 28 years of international business experience with diverse roles handling various functions in general management, corporate strategy, sales and project management.


Lim Wee Seng
Group Head and MD, Energy, Renewables & Infrastructure, DBS

Wee Seng is Group Head of Energy, Renewables and Infrastructure (ERI) at DBS Bank. He nurtured and built an award-winning team that is well-recognized today as one of Asia’s leading project finance banks. In testament to this, the bank was named Project Finance Advisory House of the Year Asia-Pacific by The Asset in both the 2021 and 2019 Triple A Infrastructure Awards and has held the title of Best Project Finance House Singapore since 2017. He has been deeply involved in project financing in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, India, China and South Korea. His sector experience includes power (both merchant and IPP/Captive models), renewables, PPPs and oil and gas (including LNG).


Varun Gujral Varun Gujral,
CEO Asia Pacific ENGIE GEMS

Varun Gujral is the CEO of ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales and Head of Commercial & Green Solutions for Asia Pacific. He joined ENGIE Global Markets (former GDB SUEZ Trading) in May 2012. Varun benefits from more than 20 years of expertise in energy trading and risk management. He has worked with Indian Oil Corporation and Cairn India Limited. Varun is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He is regarded as an expert in the industry and gets invited for strategic discussion as well as presenter/speaker at international conferences.



Li pingyang Li PingYang,
Senior Vice President, Business Development, ENGIE Hydrogen

Li PingYang is Senior Vice President, Business Development at ENGIE Hydrogen for APAC, based in Singapore. Mr. Li has 16 years of working experience in utility & energy projects: 10 years in project finance plus 6 years in business development, with the last 3 years dedicated to green hydrogen project development. He has successfully led project development and financing closing process, succeeded in bid submission & won bids in public tender and M&A transactions.


Saifuddin Suaib,
Business Development Manager, HDF Energy

Saifuddin Suaib (Cipu) is the Business Development Manager of HDF Energy in Indonesia, a French Independent Power Producer dedicated to hydrogen to power. He has over 10 years of experience in Climate Change, Sustainability, Renewable Energy through various positions within Development Organizations (GIZ and USAID), FMCG and Developer Company. Cipu is in charge for developing hydrogen to power market in Indonesia and leading the engagement with key stakeholders in the country.



Yosuke Sato,
Deputy Director, LNG Research & Analysis, Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC)

Yosuke Sato is Deputy Director, LNG Information Team, Research and Analysis Department, Oil & Gas Upstream Unit for Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC). He has primarily engaged in the areas of oil and gas research and planning. His current focus is the LNG market, and he disseminates information on the development of the market on JOGMEC’s website.



Alan Brechner,
Asian Head of LNG, Mercuria

Alan Brechner is the Head of LNG trading for Mercuria in Singapore. Alan spent more than 15 years in Shell, where he had several roles including gas, power and emission option trader, structuring lead and LNG portfolio manager for Asia. He has degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Financial Mathematics.


Robert Robert Johnson,
Head of Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals, MUFG

Robert Johnson joined MUFG Bank in 2015 as Head of Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals. He has over 30 years of renewables, oil & gas industry and banking experience, he has closed more than USD 10bn in structured transactions, primarily in the renewable energy and oil & gas sectors. Landmark transactions led by Mr. Johnson include the Bangkok & Zenith Green Energy landfill gas to energy projects, the PT Indoethanol biogas to electricity project, the USD 1.85 bn Pertamina JTB gas development and processing project, the USD 16bn Petronas/S. Aramco Integrated Refinery Project, and the USD 6.5bn BP-Mitsubishi-CNOOC Tangguh LNG liquefaction project.


Alan Alan Heng,
Group Chief Executive Officer, Pavilion Energy

Alan Heng is the Group Chief Executive Officer at Pavilion Energy. A strong proponent for the decarbonization of the maritime industry to combat climate change, Alan led the team to launch the new marine bunkering business, positioning Pavilion Energy as one of the early movers in LNG bunkering in Singapore. A seasoned professional with decades of experience in the energy industry, Alan has taken on various leadership roles in supply, planning, chemicals, operations and marketing, spanning across Taiwan, New Zealand and the United States.


Kusdi Kusdi Widodo,
Commercial Director, PT Pertamina Gas

Kusdi Widodo is Commercial Director at PT Pertamina Gas, from 2022. Previously, he held a position as Vice President Gas & Products Commercial. Prior to joining PT Pertamina Gas, Kusdi had worked for Total Oil Indonesia as Vice President, ConocoPhillips as General Manager and Shell Indonesia as Senior Manager. Kusdi regularly speaks in industry events on gas and LNG subjects.


Ankit Sachan,
Hydrogen Analyst, S&P Global Commodity Insights

Ankit Sachan is a Hydrogen Analyst for the Asia-Pacific region at S&P Global Commodity Insights. Ankit leverages his technical knowledge and market expertise in forming the long-term hydrogen supply and demand outlook for the region. His responsibilities include developing hydrogen production and delivery models, cost analysis, and providing analytics and insights to the clients in the Asia-Pacific Region. Ankit has worked as a Doctoral Research Fellow at Energy Studies Institute (ESI), a think tank working on the areas of Energy Economics, Security, and the Environment. His research work at ESI aimed at the long-term decarbonization of Singapore and the ASEAN region.

Ciaran regularly speaks at industry events and in the media on subjects such as the impact of tariffs on trade, and the energy transition.

Jeff's work feeds weekly and monthly analytic publications and datasets which support the company increasingly important presence in the LNG markets in Asia. He is also responsible for the JKM price forecast.

Jenny Yang, Senior Director, S&P Global Commodity Insights, leads the practice on Greater China’s natural gas and low-carbon gases. Jenny focuses on China’s gas and power market fundamentals and policy analysis. Her recent research includes China’s hydrogen policies and market development progress, energy market reforms, air pollution control and environmental policies and the implications on energy demand, LNG procurement strategies, and the impacts of Chinese energy policies and demand on the global market. She also has extensive knowledge of the electricity markets.


Joo Yeow Lee
Associate Director, Southeast Asia Power & Renewables, S&P Global Commodity Insights

Joo Yeow Lee is part of the Gas, Power and Climate Solutions team. He leads the low carbon power research for Southeast Asia, which includes renewables and low carbon fuels/technology, covering the fundamental analysis of government policies, targets, regulations, competitive landscape, market players, pricing, market screening and market entry strategies. He helps clients assess and investigate the strategic issues facing Southeast Asia's energy market development and navigate an exciting yet highly uncertain market landscape. He has vast experience in policy making and economic regulations for the electricity and gas sector, from his time at the Energy Market Authority (Singapore).

Shermaine Ang is a member of the Strategic Engagement & Intelligence Group (SEIG) and the lead for global LNG market engagements, driving engagements for established and emerging benchmarks on the markets and pricing assessment methodology. Previously, Shermaine worked in the pricing team for LNG where she worked on key methodology changes, responsible for daily assessments of Platts JKM and WIM, and spoke at multiple events including the China and Korea commodity forums.

Zhi Xin is a Director of S&P Global, based in Singapore. He leads the emerging market team covering natural gas and LNG in South Asia and Southeast Asia. His focus is on understanding supply, demand and pricing outlooks for commodity markets and the impact of government policies. A recognized expert, Zhi Xin has spoken at numerous conferences and his views are routinely sought by major media publications. He has advised numerous LNG buyers and sellers on LNG portfolio optimization, transactional advisory and contractual pricing issues. He has also worked as a policy and planning analyst at the Energy Market Authority of Singapore where he was involved in the planning of the electricity and gas sector, Singapore LNG terminal development and various projects on Jurong Island.


Martin Houston
Vice Chairman, Tellurian Inc

Martin Houston is Vice Chairman of Tellurian Inc, a company he co-founded in 2016. He has been member of many Boards over the past three decades and is currently the Chairman of EnQuest plc, a FTSE listed oil and gas company. Martin has managed all forms of enterprise in the energy industry for over 43 years. He has also established a strong external reputation in the international gas business and is largely credited with being the key architect of BG Group’s world class LNG business, from which he retired in 2014 as chief operating officer and executive director after 32 years. Martin has a number of advisory roles in the mega-wind company as well as with two embryonic carbon neutral ventures in carbon dioxide and ammonia.
