Keith Tan is senior managing editor for steel and scrap at S&P Global Platts, having joined in 2007 after earlier stints at petrochemical market information provider ICIS and DaimlerChrylser. Initially covering the Asian petrochemical markets out of the company’s Singapore office, Keith joined the metals group in 2010 and was part of the team that built the benchmark Iron Ore Index. He relocated to Shanghai in 2015 to expand the team’s coverage of Chinese steel.

Joanna started her career at S&P Global Platts as a petrochemicals editor, based firstly in Singapore before relocating to Sydney, Australia. She held various leadership positions in Platts petrochemicals editorial team, before transfering to the metals group in 2010.
Joanna pioneered the Platts Australian alumina daily assessment in 2010, the first daily alumina assesment in the international open market. The Platts benchmark is widely used in physical term contracts and spot trades worldwide.

Sparsh Gulati is Client Service Manager at S&P Global Platts based in Mumbai, India, and supporting clients throughout South Asia. He joined Platts in September 2018 after working at Tata Consultancy Services for 5 years managing Information Technology of its hospitality clients globally.
Sparsh has been in the commodities industry for over 2 years, and have been working very closely with Platts clients since then.
Prior to joining the commercial team at S&P Global Platts, Sparsh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM, Mumbai, also IT Diploma from NIIT, Dehradun, India.

Rafael Caccavali is a Client Service Manager at S&P Global Platts based in Melbourne, Australia, and supporting clients throughout Oceania. He joined Platts in November 2019 after working at S&P Global Market Intelligence in New York for 3.5 years managing accounts within the Metals & Mining and Energy sectors. Rafael has been in the commodities industry for over 12 years, having worked in R&D and process improvement in his role as an engineer, prior to joining the commercial team at S&P Global. Rafael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Melbourne, Melbourne Business School.
