We will be joined by Gwenaëlle Avice-Huet, CEO, ENGIE North America, as she shares her insights into the evolution of the energy transition amidst an unprecedented obstacle… a global pandemic.

Gwenaëlle Avice-Huet is a member of the Executive Committee of ENGIE Group responsible for the Renewables Global Business Line and CEO of ENGIE North America. Ms. Avice-Huet began her career at the French National Research Institute and the French Atomic Energy Commission on nuclear energy, before joining the World Bank in Washington D.C. as a consultant. She also worked for the Service of the Prime Minister in France, within the office of the General Secretary for European affairs, with responsibility for energy and competitiveness matters, and as an advisor for various ministers (European Affairs State Secretary, M. Jean-Pierre Jouyet – 2008/2009; State Minister responsible for Energy and sustainable development, M. Jean-Louis Borloo – 2009/2010).

Ms. Avice-Huet was to deliver a featured Keynote Address at our April 2020 Global Power Markets™ Conference, which was cancelled due to COVID-19 safety concerns. This webinar is part of the S&P Global Platts initiative to continue providing timely, relevant insights and access to industry leaders, especially during these uncertain times.
