Andrei is heading the Asia Pacific Agricultural unit for S&P Global Platts. He oversees a multitude of Agricultural commodities including Wheat, Corn, Oilseeds, Sugar and Biofuels. Andrei’s experience lies in physical softs commodities markets and how these transition to sophisticated exchange listed contracts. His previous work experience was concentrated in investment banking and risk management. He holds a Masters degree in Finance from Toulouse Business School, France.

Elizabeth Thang is Asia’s Agriculture Managing Editor for the Sugar and Biofuels team at S&P Platts. Based in Singapore, she drives editorial and pricing coverage in the biofuels, sugar and grain space to advance benchmark pricing in the Asian markets.
Managing Editor – LatAm Grains and Oilseeds Pricing
S&P Global Platts
Gustavo leads a time of price specialists gathering information on grains and oilseeds in Brazil and Argentina. Currently Platts publishes price assessments for soybeans, corn, soybean meal and soybean oil in Latin America. Those assessments have started to be published in mid-2018 and are quickly becoming the reference for several contracts in the region, which is a global agricultural powehouse. Gustavo has more than 11 year covering agriculture markets, including 5 years at Thomson Reuters prior to joining Platts in 2017. News reporting have taken Gustavo from remote farming areas in the heart of Brazil, to the rivers in the Amazon jungle to United Nations conferences across the globe.
Senior Grains Analyst, Analytics Agriculture

Victoria is Senior Grains Analyst at the S&P Global Platts Analytics Agriculture team covering Ukraine, Russia, and the European Union. Prior to joining S&P Global she was a Senior Analyst at Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv) Agriculture Research team modelling and forecasting area, yield and production for various crops across the European Union and the Black Sea. Victoria holds a PhD degree (2014) in Meteorology, Climatology and Agrometeorology from the Odessa State Environmental University, Ukraine, focusing on modelling of grain crop development. Previous to Thomson Reuters, she conducted market research and financial modelling for a renewable energy firm in London, as well as worked at a grain laboratory of an inspection company in her native Ukraine.

Takmila Shahid is an Editor for Wheat at S&P Global Platts. Currently a front-line analyst specializing in index pricing and market intelligence, Takmila examines market-moving trends and ever-changing trade dynamics in the Asian grains market. Prior to this role, Takmila was an Associate Editor in Metals, pricing the global Iron Ore benchmark and analyzing the ferrous market. Takmila started her career with the Commodity Associate Program at Platts, rotating across Metals and Oil products. She holds an MSc in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.
Executive Director, Agriculture Commodity Products, Asia Pacific

Nelson Low serves as Executive Director, Agricultural Commodity Products, Asia Pacific, of CME Group. He is responsible for growing CME Group’s agricultural commodities business, including driving product strategy, marketing, education, developing existing partnerships and identifying new business opportunities throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Low joined CME Group in April 2008 and he has 20 years of experience in the global commodities markets. Prior to joining CME Group, Low served as Vice President, Product and Business Development at the Singapore Exchange (SGX) responsible for commodity derivatives. Prior to SGX, Low worked in various commodity trading roles at Avebe U.A. and Andre & CIE S.A.
Low earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Associate Director, Agriculture Solutions
S&P Global Platts
Christopher is responsible for product strategy and development of S&P Global Platts Agriculture business. Chris’ experience spans across the energy and commodity markets. He Joined Platts in 2007 and covered European and Asian oil markets as a pricing specialist for over eight years. He then focused on Market Development for Platts in the; Metals, Agriculture, Petrochemical and Shipping markets. Chris has spent the last two years focused on the Strategic Development of Platts LNG business, as well as M&A and Strategic Partnership Development. He re-joined the Agriculture team again earlier this year to help drive the Platts expansion in Agriculture. Christopher has a degree in Geography from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
