Platts Analytics will explore the decline in jet fuel demand and the subsequent collapse in refinery margins that has generated investment in bio-refineries and renewable fuels, such as SAF. Will renewable fuels be cost competitive relative to traditional fuels? Without significant policy support in the form of subsidies and environmental credits, such as those in California, there remains risk to long-term supply and utilization of renewable fuels.
