Scott Yarham is the Associate Director of Metals at S&P Platts, leading the content teams for both the ferrous & non-ferrous market coverage within the EMEA region. Prior to joining Platts, Scott was the Pricing Development Manager at CRU International, leading the global coverage of steel raw materials and finished steel markets. Scott holds a first-class degree in International Relations and Trade from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Market and Pricing Analyst – Metals
S&P Global Platts

Emmanuel Latham is a market and pricing analyst at S&P Global Platts, covering battery metals, namely lithium and cobalt, and the European aluminum market. Previously at Platts he has covered ferrous raw materials and European petrochemical markets. He holds an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, with a thesis on the self-healing of nuclear fuels after radiation damage.

Jacqueline Holman is a market and pricing specialist at S&P Global Platts, covering the European aluminum alloy market and battery metals, namely lithium and cobalt. She previously spent seven years as an editor on Platts’ international thermal coal team and has also held senior reporter positions at both Aspermont Media’s Mining Journal and Creamer Media’s Engineering News and Mining Weekly publications. She holds a Journalism BA Honours degree from the University of Johannesburg.

Laura Varriale is Managing Editor of the Platts Ferrous Metals team in our London office which includes pricing and market coverage of long and flat steel as well as scrap markets in the EMEA region. Laura has been reporting on European flat steel prices and steel market news for more than four years at Platts. Previous to Platts she worked as a reporter covering the battery and energy storage markets. Laura holds a Master’s Degree from Humboldt University Berlin and received a Gold Standard Diploma from the UK National Council for the Training of Journalists.
